This website is owned by SA Palm Tour Pty Ltd ACN 151 536 711.

By using this website, you agree and accept to be legally bound, unconditionally, by the terms and conditions.  If you do not agree then you must not use this website and you must not make any booking with SA Palm Tour Pty Ltd.

 

WEBSITE INFORMATION

 

This Site displays information about travel locations, airfares, travel agents locations, flight times and dates, tours, packages, schedules, information about SA Palm Tour and many other things.

Most of this information is supplied to us by third party providers including airlines and etc. Therefore, although we have taken reasonable care to ensure that this information is correct and up to date, we cannot check the accuracy of such information where it is provided to us by third parties.

We accept no responsibility for information supplied to us by third parties. We recommend you confirm all information contained on or linked from the Site with the relevant third party provider.

 

PRICING

 

Prices on the SA Palm Tour website, and in the online booking engine, are subject to availability and conditions may change without notice. Although every care has been taken the prices are not guaranteed until paid in full and documents have been issued. Unless otherwise stated prices shown are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are fully inclusive of taxes, levies, government charges and other applicable fees.

 

For some international flights and Low Cost Carrier bookings flight pricing has been converted to AUD using the exchange rate at the time the booking is made. Variations to your final price may occur due to currency fluctuations. Please note, where any pricing has been converted from a foreign currency, payments are processed in the original currency and your credit card company may charge a conversion fee. These could range between 1-3% of the total charge.

 

Seasonal surcharges and blackout dates may apply depending on date of travel.

 

Please note that bookings for infants do NOT include a seat unless a child price has been paid for.

 

AIRWAY CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE

 

All flights bookings made on this website are subject to the Carrier’s conditions of carriage.

 

YOUR OBLIGATIONS AND WARRANTIES

 

In consideration of SA Palm Tour permitting you to use the Service, you warrant to us that: (a) you are at least 18 years old and have the power and authority to enter into a binding contract with us and with the suppliers of products and services that you acquire; (b) the information you provide us about yourself is true, accurate, current and complete (apart from any optional items) as required by any registration process; and (c) you will maintain and promptly update this information to keep it true, accurate and complete.

 

You must use the Service in accordance with these terms and conditions and must not use the Service in any way to breach any laws or defame anyone. You agree to indemnify us from and against all claims, actions, suits, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses, losses including consequential losses, whether arising directly or indirectly from the use of the Service by you or any person using the Service through any means provided to you.

 

BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS

 

1. Availability

 

The products and services offered on this site are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice.

 

2. Online Booking

 

You may make bookings for travel services and products online at this site. Any online booking is subject to these terms and to the supplier’s special conditions. You must have sufficient credit on your credit card account to meet all charges for product and services booked using your account through this site. If we do not receive payment of these charges from your credit card provider, you must pay us these charges. We reserve the right to decline any booking for any individual on any tour or other service.

 

When making an online booking, you must enter details of each traveller correctly and according to their passport or other identification document. Some suppliers will deny carriage if the traveller’s name varies from their booking and may cancel automatically if the traveller’s name is amended. SA Palm Tour has no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the incorrect entry of a traveller’s name or as a result of the carrier’s policies.

 

An online booking requires payment in full at the time of making the booking. In some instances, payment for international tickets can be made or taken after the online booking process is completed.

 

Any travel booking made with SA Palm Tour is subject to your credit card approval for the transaction. If your credit card is not approved, we will contact you but accept no responsibility for any costs incurred in the event we are unable to contact you.

 

Prices featured on the online booking engine are for online booking only and may differ if you proceed to book your flight over the phone or through a SA Palm Tour agent.

 

3. Booking via Our Call Centre

 

We are not responsible for any changes made by a supplier to the balance due date and prices are not guaranteed until payment has been made in full and documents have been processed.

 

4. Your Credit Card Details

 

We reserve the right to pass on your credit card details, and any other essential booking details, to a third party supplier who may charge your card directly for all or part of your booking payment. For details of how we collect and use your personal information, please view our Privacy Policy.
In some instances, you may be required to provide verification documentation to substantiate identity.

 

This is to assist us in validating the integrity of the credit card information. This process is in place to reduce the potential risk of fraud. If we are unable to contact the card holder to make such verification, we do not accept responsibility for any rebooking costs for missed ticketing deadlines. Under such circumstances, any bookings arrangements will be cancelled.

 

If, for any reason, any travel service provider (including airlines) do not provide the products or service which you have contracted to acquire, the liability is against the provider only and not against us. If payment for such a product or service was made to SA Palm Tour by credit card, by accepting these booking conditions, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your credit card payment to SA Palm Tour.

 

5. Changes to Your Flight Times

 

It is your responsibility to contact the airline prior to departure to ensure there is no change to the scheduled departure time.

 

6. Passports, Visas and Health Requirements

 

Visas, including transit visas, are the passenger’s own responsibility. For more information please log on to: www.dfat.gov.au or . Please check with the respective Embassy or Consulate of each country that you are travelling to, as many destinations require visas for both Australians and non Australian passport holders. For more information, log on to www.visalink.com.au. You need to ensure that you have at least 6 months validity on your passport from the date of your departure.

 

International travellers booked on flights to the United States, including Hawaii, it is now mandatory, under the Visa Waiver Program to receive an electronic authorisation known as ETSA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) no less than 72 hours before travel to the USA. This can be obtained from the following site: www.cbp.gov/etsa.

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations. Vaccinations are strongly recommended for certain destinations. You need to contact your local doctor who will advise you of these requirements. Please note that vaccinations may be recommended some period in advance of travelling.

 

7. Frequent Flyer Customers

 

We do not offer advice on Frequent Flyer eligibility on flights that we advertise on our site or that you have booked. For more information on whether your airfare is eligible for Frequent Flyer rewards, you must contact the airline directly. When booking online, you must ensure that you have entered your correct number in the special section feature in the booking engine. For Call Centre bookings, you must give your consultant your Frequent Flyer details and these will be put into your reservation. SA Palm Tour does not accept responsibility if your airline does not register your trip. You must retain your air ticket and boarding pass.

 

8. Ticketing
For international and domestic departure, e-tickets will be issued upon payment and completion of the booking process. In some instances, SA Palm Tour may not be able to issue an e-ticket on the flights or fares selected. Bookings that cannot be issued as an e-ticket, will have to be changed to comply with e-ticket regulations, a consultant from SA Palm Tour will contact you to advice on alternative options. All other travel documentation, such as hotel, car hire and etc will be e-mailed to you as an e-document. Should the travel provider issue paper vouchers, these will be posted to you no later than 14 days prior to departure.

 

9. Booking with a Low Cost Carrier (“LCC”)

 

In 2006 Low Cost Carriers offered a total of 550 million seats on nearly 4 million flights which represented 17% of the total number of seats on offer worldwide. As you can see these figures represent a significant share of the Air Travel Market, and their market share is set to increase hugely in the coming years as a result of the fantastic prices on offer.

 

Virgin Australia, Jetstar, Tiger and etc are classed as “Low Cost Carrier” (LCC).

 

If you have booked with any of these airlines and you wish to amend or cancel your booking, you MUST contact the airline directly on the featured phone numbers.

 

These airlines usually keep their costs low by not including extra services like meals, entertainment, check-in baggage etc; however in many cases these can be purchased prior to departure, at the airport or on-board your flight.

 

SA Palm Tour recommends that you contact your Low Cost Carrier directly at least 72 hours prior to departure of each flight to reconfirm.

 

Low Cost Carriers reserve the right to charge Credit Card merchant fees additionally to the airfare and taxes displayed. Credit Card merchant fees applied by the airline directly will be charged additionally to your credit card upon confirmation of your booking.

 

Bookings made on Low Cost Carriers in some instances do not include a check-in baggage allowance. Check-in baggage allowances included in the fare purchased will be listed on your booking confirmation from the airline. Please contact the airline directly if you require to increase your check- in baggage limit. Baggage fees may be charged by the airline or at the airport for any additional requirements and are non-refundable once purchased.

 

Please note that most airlines treat name changes and route and/or itinerary alterations as FULL CANCELLATION and can incur full cancellation charges.

 

All worldwide airlines charge amendment and cancellation fees. SA Palm Tour will not take any responsibility for any clients who do not take out fully comprehensive insurance cover when booking to cover any eventualities.

 

Payments processed in foreign currency (currency other than the original card holders country of issue), may incur a currency conversion fee. Please refer to your financial institution for applicable fees.

 

Prices featured on the SA Palm Tour search engine are in Australian dollars (AUD) based on the current daily rate of exchange, final payments and statements may differ from the amount shown due to currency conversion fluctuation.

 

FEES AND CHARGES

 

1. Our Fees and Charges

 

We may charge a fee for making a booking on your behalf. You acknowledge that we may receive a commission from suppliers for bookings made on your behalf. We reserve the right to charge administrative fees for payments made by credit card. These changes range from 2-4% dependent on what credit card issuer is utilised.

 

2. Booking Amendment Charges, Cancellation/Amendment Fees

 

Once full payment has been made, we reserve the right to charge cancellation or amendment fees to cover our administration costs. This fee is in addition to any charged levied by the supplier. Please note that the conditions for some services, particularly airfares, may not permit refunds. If we are obliged to cancel your travel arrangements or booking for any reason, our liability will be limited to a refund of all monies paid by you less any cancellation fees and subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions.

 

No refunds will be made for unused services, regardless of the reason. In the event of returning a car early, the operator may provide you with a statement showing the amount of unused service. This figure is for domestic taxation purposes and does not mean a refund for the amount will be made. Where refunds for unused services are allowed (e.g. for Go-as-you-please accommodation vouchers), a service fee will be charged against the value of the refund. Please ensure that, when requesting a refund, you enclose copies of all relevant documentation.

 

If you would like to cancel the booking you made on online, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $20.

 

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

You use this site at your own risk.

This site is provided by us on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant or represent that the content of this site is accurate, up-to-date or complete, or that it does not infringe the rights of any third parties.

 

We make no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to the site, its contents or any of the products or services supplied through the site. The travel products and services offered and promoted via the site are products and services of third parties. Our role is to facilitate your travel arrangements, including processing your bookings and making payments. We are acting as an agent for third party providers. Your legal relationship in respect of the third party products and services is with the relevant third party provider.

 

If any warranties are implied by law that cannot be excluded, then our liability for breach of such warranties is limited, at our option, to:

The replacement of the products or the supply of equivalent products;
the payment of the cost of replacing the products or acquiring equivalent products;
